Your Questions, Answered
Memberships and pricing
Do I have to buy a membership?
No. You can request a one-time property visit, a repair quote, a home inspection or another individual service without enrolling. A nonmember service-call fee may apply.
What do the published monthly prices include?
They are starting rates for a typical qualifying property. We review house size, number of HVAC systems, access and requested services before issuing a written scope and price. Basic included maintenance supplies are covered as stated; specialty products and additional work are shown separately.
Does every maintenance task happen during every visit?
No. Tasks are scheduled by season and performed only where appropriate, accessible and safe. A completed-visit report explains the work performed and concerns observed.
Are the filters and supplies included?
Yes. Standard HVAC filters used during scheduled changes are supplied with eligible home memberships. If you prefer premium allergy/high-efficiency or other specialty filters — or the property has additional systems — any price difference is reviewed in advance. The plan’s listed softener-salt and standard alarm-battery benefits are included where applicable; other parts and repairs are quoted separately.
How do my included handyman hours work?
Current proposed annual allowances are 1 hour for Essentials, 4 for Seasonal, 4 for Complete, 8 for Premier and 24 for Signature. Eligible tasks require scheduling and authorization; hours are not unlimited on-demand work.
Are there annual contracts, upfront payment discounts or cancellations?
The final written agreement will explain billing, the service year, cancellation, benefits already used and any annual-prepay promotion. No discount or refund formula should be assumed before those terms are finalized.
Your Questions, Answered
Family visits and bundles
How do I combine a home plan with family visits?
Choose one home membership and one family-visit membership. Tell us where the visits take place and who should receive updates. We provide a combined scope and quote; any bundle savings will be stated explicitly.
Do I have to bundle to buy family visits?
No. Family Hello, Family Connect and Family Priority can each be purchased independently.
What happens during a family visit?
A scheduled, nonmedical friendly check-in: conversation, companionship and simple permitted tasks within the visit. With the person’s consent, we share factual updates with authorized family members.
Can you run an errand, bring in mail or help with a pet?
Small tasks can be discussed when they fit within the scheduled visit and the individual’s preferences. Separate trips, grocery purchases and extended pet care may require additional charges.
Can you visit someone in assisted living or a care facility?
Potentially, subject to the resident’s consent and the facility’s visitation rules. These are companionship visits, not clinical monitoring, personal medical care or emergency response.
Your Questions, Answered
Inspections, scheduling and repairs
Are your membership checks the same as a buyer's home inspection?
Membership care is performed with a home inspector’s trained eye and a consistent maintenance checklist; Seasonal through Signature visits are planned to be conducted by Nebraska-registered home inspectors. That gives you informed, documented oversight, but the frequency, testing scope and report are different from a separate, comprehensive buyer’s real-estate inspection. A visual visit cannot guarantee discovery of hidden defects.
Who performs the service?
We are building a founder-led team, with maintenance visits performed by trained personnel and eligible higher-tier reviews by Nebraska-registered home inspectors once registrations are active. Your proposal identifies the services and qualifications that apply to your visit.
What happens if you find a problem?
We document the observation and discuss options. If you want repairs, we can prepare a separate estimate; you are free to hire another contractor.
Do you cover areas outside Lincoln?
Yes. Lincoln is our primary service area, and we welcome requests from surrounding communities and farther away. Any additional mileage or travel charge is clearly included in your quote before scheduling.
Can I call for an emergency at any time?
We do not advertise 24-hour emergency or medical response. For immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services. Routine visits and project work are scheduled in advance.
Still have a question?
We'd rather explain the scope clearly than surprise you later.
